DIY Tutorial: TeePee

TeePee Tutorial

What you need:

5 poles – I used Bamboo sticks from Target. They come in packs of 3 and are clearanced right now (section with floral wreaths and vases).

Fabric – I used a twin sized bed skirt, bought from a thrift store

Clothes pins, Twine (the bamboo sticks come wrapped with twine, I reused it), Scissors

Step 1:

Start your teepee with 3 sticks, wrap the twine around them until they’re stable.

Add another stick, tie it up.
Add the last stick, tie it up.

I use 5 sticks to hold the fabric out more and make more space inside. With only 3 sticks, the inside was very small.

Step 2:

Get your fabric ready.

Step 3:

Find a center location and cut a hole for your poles to stick through.

Step 4:

Cut a slit for a doorway.
Pin the fabric around the sticks.

This is the backside. I clamped the excess fabric to the back stick.
