Ruffle TeePee Tutorial
by Tabitha of TFJ Photography
Last week an idea popped in my head and I had to try it. Luckily, I already had everything I needed. I just needed to pull them all together!
The RUFFLE TEEPEE that I made (no SEWING required!) ….
Materials Needed:
3 – Bamboo Sticks (I got mine at Target for around $13) or Tree Branches that are the same length.
2 – Sheer Ikea Panels (1 Package) $4.99
1 – Ruffle Shower Curtain {Mine is from Urban Outfitter – $79}
2 Yards – 1.5″ Ribbon
1/2 Yard – Twine
{ A big Thank YOU to Rachel Nichole Photography for sharing how to add the light to a lantern! You can see the tutorial HERE.}
Now, let’s put it together. No sewing needed! …
1. Tie the 3 Bamboo Sticks together at the top. I used twine, but ribbon could be used as well. Be sure to wrap each pole so that they are tightly tied together.
2. Run a yard of ribbon thru the curtain rod pocket of both the sheer Ikea panels and tie onto the sticks {above}.
3. Lace the other yard of ribbon through the slots on the shower curtain.
4. Tie the shower curtain to the bamboo sticks.
5. Enjoy! You are done!
The teepee is awesome with just the sheer panels too!
